Country Research Analyst (South Pacific Islands) 

We are currently recruiting analysts in the selected islands in the South Pacific. We are particularly interested in candidates who are able to interpret data and translate industry sentiments into insightful analysis for our clients. Based in any of the following islands in the South Pacific i.e Guam, Samoa, American Samoa, Fiji, New Caledonia, Tahiti or Vanuatu, the selected candidates will be working full-time from home and be groomed to represent the company in the FMCG sector. Selected applicants will be working alongside project consultants and trained in the data analysis skills and Euromonitor's research methodologies. 

For this role the candidate will be expected to:

" Acquire and analyze data in FMCG industries in the above islands via primary and secondary research.
" Conduct phone and face to face trade interviews/discussions with companies and associations in related industries / field of study.
" Perform statistical calculations, build market size / data and develop forecast estimates.
" Evaluate quantitative and qualitative information sets and develop independent and insightful analysis / strategic recommendations in standard reporting formats.

For this role, the potential candidate should possess:

" Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or other related fields 
" Strong analytical and numerical abilities 
" Fluency in both spoken and written English and local language (must)
" Confidence in conducting phone or face-to-face interviews with industry players
" Ability to work independently 
" Strong commitment to deadlines

**Candidates must possess a computer &amp; internet connection, be readily contactable by phone, in order to be considered for this position. Flexibility to work ad-hoc over the weekends will be an added advantage.
