Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced GENERAL MANAGEMENT COUPLE with the right attitudes to deliver a great product experience and run a smooth and successful operation. Operations include, but are not limited to, guest relations, guest and resort  activities, resort  and boat maintenance, food and beverage, housekeeping, landscaping, book-keeping &amp; administration,supervising/managing of staff, staff scheduling, local marketing and the general day to day activities involved in running  the resort. Most importantly the job includes ensuring a great guest experience and guest satisfaction.

The resort has been growing fast and we are looking for experienced professionals to continue such growth going forward whilst constantly adapting the operation to be able to deliver against guest expectations. The job entails a 'jack of all trades' ability and the experience of being able to resolve ongoing problems fast and efficient, whilst ensuring continuous guest satisfaction. It is key to be a problem solver, great organizer and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize, as well as deal with the general 'Island Mentality' of a Pacific Island and Fiji.

Interested in couples only, with a background in resort management in the hospitality industry and ideally small, exclusive dive resorts. The positions offered are Resort Managers and as such include the overall management of the resort, thereby fully running the resort on the ground in Fiji and reporting to the owner. KEY CRITERIA: 
Him/Her: * PADI Instructor with great people skills * Overall Dive Operation management skills required * Boat Handling a plus * Outboard mechanics and boating knowledge a big plus * Work experience in island resorts * Ability to supervise and manage all repairs &amp; maintenance, as well as mechanical operations in a remote location * Strong problem solving skills * Effective interpersonal skills and effective decision-making skills * Strong skill-set to work in Fijian cultural environment with local staff management.

Her/Him: * Strong front office management and organization skills, computer literacy and resort management experience * Experience in reservations and reception and front office * Experience in (international) resort marketing * Experience in managing resort staff (kitchen, housekeeping etc.) * Basic knowledge of accounting (accounts receivable and accounts payable &amp; pay roll), food and beverage, housekeeping and guest services operational procedures * Preferable PADI dive master or instructor
