A rare opportunity exists for a Country Manager with National Pacific Insurance in American Samoa. 

National Pacific Insurance has been operating in American Samoa for over 30 years and has a successful record of performing well year after year. National Pacific Insurance has branches in Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga selling both domestic and commercial insurance direct, through brokers and through alliance partners like Banks.

Based in Pago Pago, this is a senior management role reporting to the Managing
Director based in Apia, Samoa, also seeking expertise and direction from the company's major shareholder TOWER Insurance who hold the management contract. This role is primarily responsible for the development of profitable growth of the company's business, along with compliance, budget, and statutory requirements of the operation including the management of its investments in American Samoa.

We are looking for a candidate with significant insurance industry experience at a management level with well developed Fire and General product knowledge and underwriting skills. A sound knowledge of commercial insurance including reinsurance is required combined with excellent leadership, interpersonal skills and organisational ability. Advanced computer skills and budget management experience are a necessity.

You will be a strategic thinker, able to relate well with others in all walks of life and have an understanding and appreciation for the cultural and ethnic diversity of the region. An attractive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful applicant.
